Jay is a Park Ranger whose decade on the job has left her a bit jaded, but never dulled her love of nature. On a fateful spring night, she sets off alone in the woods to avoid unwanted attention from raucous male campers—only to find herself face-to-face with a grizzly bear.

Arthur is a bear shifter hiding out in the woods because he struggles to stay in human form. Even in exo-human haven Teraton, grizzlies aren’t exactly welcome at the grocery store. His fateful meeting with Jay blossoms into friendship, then passion.

As Arthur and Jay ride a heat wave amidst the pines, a storm is brewing. A jilted camper is stalking Jay, and when disaster strikes, it will take all of Jay’s training and grit to make sure she and Arthur see the next sunrise.

ALONE IN THE WOODS: BELOVED BY THE BEAR SHIFTER is a human x grizzly shifter romance novella (32k words) that confronts real-world issues around prejudice and harassment, then wraps you in a big bear hug.
